Luke 5:33-39

The scribes and Pharisees criticize the lack of prescribed religious practices on the part of the disciples. Jesus responds to their concern about fasting specifically and then gives them the bigger lesson about the limitations of old ways. They can become stagnant. Jesus is bringing those ways back to life.

Change is hard as is letting go of old ways that seem meaningless. You challenge me to look to the source and to uncover why we do what we do.
