Luke 9:46-50

Competition and jealously seem to be surfacing as the disciples relate to one another and to those outside their group. Jesus uses a child to remind them what being the greatest really means. He also tells them to be open to those doing God’s work. Though not part of their circle, they are on the same team.


You are present in and act through the most unexpected people in the most unlikely places. I know I need to honor and respect their ministry. Help me to be more open and inclusive.
