Lk 10:1-12

Jesus is well aware of the work that needs to be done. The number of disciples chosen and sent has grown exponentially. Jesus sends them ahead using the “buddy” system. He instructs and cautions them. He tells them to travel light taking only what is necessary. Bring peace to those who receive you. Move on from those who reject you. It is not going to be easy but they are not alone.

Let me not forget that anything I say or do in your name, has its origins in you, not in me. Thank you for making me an instrument of your holy work.
