Luke 24:46-53

In Luke’s Gospel, Jesus’ Ascension to the Father is within the same day as his Resurrection. He appears to his disciples in Jerusalem. He offers them peace and consolation and reminds them of all that he has told them. He takes them to Bethany, blesses them and ascends to heaven. They are filled with joy.

In the same way you reassured your disciples that your departure was not permanent, we are reminded that when our loved ones die, we are not saying goodbye.
