Matthew 7:6, 12-14

The passage begins with Jesus’ words about those who oppose the Gospel. He goes on with those familiar words known as the Golden Rule. This sage advice is not unique to Judaism or Christianity. It is timeless and universal. The Gospel concludes with Jesus’s reference to the “two ways,” one that leads to life, the other destruction. Not everyone chooses the way to life.

Your words are powerful and your way is the way to life everlasting. Help me always to make the right choice.
