Matthew 6:24-34

Jesus tells his disciples to notice how God cares for nature when they feel anxious about their own needs. While God’s love is reflected in all creation, human beings are most important. Worrying does not resolve anything. If they set their focus on serving God all else will be taken care of.

If I’m not letting regret spoil past memories, I’m inviting anxiety to cloud my hopes and dreams for the future. When I look to God, I learn from yesterday, I live today and I am assured he will take care of tomorrow.
