Matthew 5:13-16

Jesus instructs his followers that about discipleship using the images of salt and light. As salt improves taste and preserves quality, the disciples are to improve the lives of the people they serve and save them from being any less than what God wills them to be. By their actions and words, they are to show Christ to others.

I am feeling a little bland and dim these days, Lord. Season and enlighten me with your love.
