Luke 11:1-13

Jesus’ models his active relationship with his Father. His disciples ask him to teach them how to pray. He teaches them the prayer we know as the Our Father and then through the parable and sayings tells them to be persistent in prayer. “Ask … seek … knock.”

We pray that those who feel you do not listen, do not answer, understand not only the power of persistence but also that you know what they need though it may not be what they want.
