Matthew 13:18-23

Though there is the hope that the hearers of the parable would be able to draw personal equivalencies for the sower, the seed and the different types of soil, they really do not understand. Jesus’ explanation goes beyond the obvious to a deeper insight into the failure of the seeds to thrive as that relates to humanity.

May we seek and find the many opportunities to dig deeper into Jesus’ teaching knowing that he is always speaking directly to each one of us.
