Mt 13:10-17

The disciples want to know why Jesus speaks to the gathered crowd in parables. Jesus tells them that they, the disciples, have been given the ability to understand the “mysteries of the kingdom.” The people can’t or won’t respond to that same God given gift of understanding.

There have been times in my life when I have chosen not to see, not to hear. I am so thankful that you did not give up on me. Give me what I need to help others hear and respond.
