Mark 5:21-43

The two stories of encounter in today’s gospel are intertwined to show a common purpose. Each involves one seeking Jesus, known to be a healer. The seekers, Jairus and the woman, driven by faith, confidently approach Jesus. Because of their faith, the child is brought back to life and the woman healed.

You are in front of me, behind me, and beside me. You hear my prayers spoken and in my heart. You listen to my wants and provide me with my needs. Thank you for helping me to know the difference.
