Mark 3:13-19

By divine authority Jesus calls the twelve. They are to be his disciples, his closest companions, and are to follow him and learn from him. Once called, Jesus names them, and by doing so they become his and will share in his mission.

I am reminded that you knew me first and in creating me placed your imprint upon me, the first call. On the day of my baptism, you called me again and named me to be yours forever.
