Matthew 14:13-21

Jesus tries to find solitude after hearing about John’s death but is followed by a crowd. He immediately senses their needs and heals the sick. Jesus ignores his disciple’s advice to send the crowds home. He provides food for their bodies and souls.

Your disciples wanted to take the easy out and send the people home. You did not scatter the crowd. You kept them united with you and one another.
