Matthew 13:47-53

The final judgment will take place at the coming of the reign of God as illustrated in the parable of the fish net. God’s angels will separate the good from the bad and deliver the appropriate reward or punishment. The Gospel concludes with a saying that speaks to the relationship between the old (tradition) and the new (Christ).

St. Alphonsus, you said, “Your God is ever beside you — indeed, he is even within you,” reminding us that we are never alone especially when faced with moral dilemmas.
