John 20:19-31

The disciples are hiding in fear. Jesus appears to them and offers them consolation. He wants them to know he is not an apparition and shows them his wounds. By the Holy Spirit they are confirmed and commissioned. Thomas moves past doubt to a sincere profession of faith in the Lord.

I am ashamed of the times that I have doubted you but am thankful because it is in the darkness your light shines and my faith is strengthened.
